CHARITY

Our Mission Here is to provide support the education of disadvantaged children and orphans in women led households in Africa. Our aim is to enable them to reach their potential in life. We are empowering women and widows in need, through training, to generate income to sustain their families. Our aim is to break the cycle of poverty among poor people in Africa.
The community in Africa is central to our approach. We therefore work alongside partners that are best placed to recognise the households with the most need in their community. Typically, well established Christian churches and community-based organisations that share our vision of supporting people in need and have the capacity to operate well managed and comprehensively monitored projects.
We are breaking the cycle of poverty among some of Africa’s poorest groups – orphans, fatherless children and widows by educating the children and empowering the women through training to generate income to sustain their families. In this way they can contribute to development in their community.

EDUCATION

We believe that every child has the right to, and
deserves, an education. Irrespective of that child’s
background or gender, all children should be
supported to go to school and acquire the skills
and qualifications necessary for a healthy and
prosperous life. The education of disadvantaged
children and orphans is at the core of our work.

ENRICHING COMMUNITIES

We are enriching the communities where we
operate in Africa by supporting projects in education, sanitation and health, through working with local
schools.

The community is central to our approach and how we carry out our projects in the countries where we
operate.

We collaborate with well-established communitybased organisations, typically religious institutions, that share our vision of alleviating poverty among disadvantaged children, orphans and women in need, and are also able to operate well managed and comprehensively monitored projects.

In addition to educating children and empowering women in need in the community, our aim is to bring about development by carrying out projects in education, sanitation and health by working with local schools.

We seek out and evaluate orphan care programs, religious institutions and food bank establishments that have exhibited the ability and history of providing of great humanitarian work., yet struggle with consistent supply of basic necessities.

We have also established a special fund to help orphans and children in need.

FAIR TRADE

Free Trade Is Not Responsible Trade. When Prices Go Down, Farmers Produce More In Order To Compensate For The Loss In Profit But Prices Inevitably Drop Further Due To Supply Exceeding Demand.

With our Fair Trade initiative, we aim to ensure all people involved throughout our supply chain are treated fairly, from farmers, workers and communities to consumers; and we’re striving to minimise our company’s environmental impact from our farm fields to our factories.

Our initiative is designed to allow all our customers to participate in a charitable deed without proactively seeking to do so. By buying any of our products, a contribution is made on your behalf from your purchase price towards one of our chosen charitable.

With this initiative, at least 1% of our profits is donated to the BIMS Charity Fund.
Those wishing to make charitable further donations are welcomed and thanked in advance for accelerating the rate at which we make an impact on the life’s of families in need.

Donations can be made through via one of our Donation Tins/Box in flagship store or through the post to our company addresses listed in our contacts section.
With this initiative, at least 1% of our profits shall be donated to our charity fund and community rejuvenation projects
